Woman attacks judge in court - video

Attacking the judge is not exactly the best way to get your point across during a domestic violence hearing.

But Melissa Hardwick did just that at a family court in Monticello, Kentucky, USA. And now she faces new charges.

Judge Jennifer Edwards had just handed out a ten day sentence during the hearing after a domestic violence complaint had been filed against Hardwick by her estranged husband.

Hardwick then snapped and lunged at the judge before security staff restrained her.
