Is this the camera I have always been waiting for? I'm a big fan of the original Olympus OM series 35mm cameras, with their superb lenses and compact bodies.
And now Olympus have launched a digital OM with classic styling and a Micro Four Thirds mount. If it is as good as the Pen series I would be happy - but it's supposed to be even better, with a 16MP sensor in a weather-sealed body.
State of the art in a classic body? Let's hope so.
The Olympus OM-D E-5 is expected to be available from April 2012 and will cost about £1,149.99 ($1,299.99).
