A woman went into the accident and emergency unit of a hospital in Kent because she wanted treatment for a broken fingernail.
An NHS spokeswoman said the A&E staff did not admit her and she was "politely sent on her way". Don't think I would have been polite!
The NHS is urging people to think twice before they go to hard-pressed accident units as those with minor ailments could prevent someone getting life-saving treatment.
Not sure if a broken fingernail can even be classed as a "minor ailment".
