The man missing from a luxury cruise ship in the English Channel is said to be a 31-year-old Filipino crew member. He is presumed dead.
CCTV shows the man apparently jumping into freezing water from the Celebrity Eclipse cruiser on its way from Cherbourg to Southampton.

Man falls from cruise ship in English Channel - presumed dead
A man is missing, presumed dead, after falling overboard from a cruise ship in the English Channel.
He fell from the Celebrity Eclipse cruiser at about 10.15pm last night, eight miles north of Cherbourg, France.
The search and rescue operation was called off this morning.
A Coastguard spokesman said: "The water was very cold and there is no hope for him."
