Rare Asian fishing cats born in Ohio

Three Asian fishing cats were born at a zoo in Ohio as part of a programme to protect rare species. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium said the two male kittens and one female kitten were born at the end of July.

Woman dies after falling into recycling bin - Toledo, Ohio, USA

An American woman has died after falling into a recycling bin.

Sheila Decoster, 65, was found upside down in a 65-gallon bin at her home in Toledo, Ohio. She is thought to have lost her balance and slipped into the bin.

There was bruising on her body, probably from when she tried to tip up the bin to escape, but she then suffocated.

Man dies in escape from police car - smashes window, dives off bridge while handcuffed

Burglary suspect Kaylen English, 20, from Dayton, Ohio, died after he smashed the rear window of a police car with his head, dived from the cruiser off the Salem Avenue Bridge and landed on a rocky area.

Now questions are being asked as to how a handcuffed suspect could break the window and dive headfirst from the car.
