World's largest chocolate sculpture – Mayan temple creation with 18,239 pounds of chocolate

The world record for the largest chocolate sculpture has been smashed by the Qzina Institute of Chocolate & Pastry with a replica Mayan temple in Mexico.

An extraordinary 18,239 lb of chocolate went into the 10ft square temple, which beats the previous record in Italy of 10,736.5 lb set in 2010. Staff at Qzina Specialty Foods in Irvine, California, spent 400 hours making the sculpture.

Should keep a chocoholic like me going for a bit.

'Second gunman' in Kennedy assassination – witness tells CNN about RFK shooting

There was a second gunman involved in the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy at The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California, according to a witness to the murder in 1968.

In an exclusive interview with CNN, Nina Rhodes-Hughes, who is now 78, says she heard two guns firing and authorities altered her account of the crime.

A federal court is preparing to rule on a challenge to Sirhan Sirhan's conviction in the Bobby Kennedy killing and Rhodes-Hughes says she wants the world to know that he was not the only gunman when RFK was shot a few feet from her.

"What has to come out is that there was another shooter to my right," she says in the CNN interview. "The truth has got to be told. No more cover-ups."

Fascinating story… even 'Homeland' couldn't keep up with the twists, turns and conspiracies in the Kennedy assassinations.

Asteroid heading for Earth on Monday - don't panic!

An asteroid is heading for Earth, says NASA, for a close encounter on Monday.

But, as CBS reports, there's no need to panic. It's close in astronomical terms, but not that close - about 7,500 miles above the planet's surface over the Atlantic Ocean at 13.30 GMT.

The space rock, about 33ft long and called "2011 MD", won't hold this year's record for coming near us. Another one flew by within 3,400 miles (5,500 kilometers) - that's less than the distance between London to New York (3,471 miles)!

According to the report from Pasadena, California, more than "8,000 near-Earth objects" have been discovered, with around 1,236 designated as "potentially hazardous".

Twitter reveals secret user data - case may help Ryan Giggs lawyers over injunction row

JUST WHEN Twitter users in the UK thought they were safe from having their details revealed because the company is based in America, confidential details of British users have been handed over after a legal move in California, according to a report in the Telegraph.

Councillors and officials of a local authority in England, South Tyneside, went to court to try to get an anonymous user, Mr Monkey, revealed.

Twitter has been ordered to release “contact details, location information and computer addresses of the individuals behind four accounts on the website”.

The ruling in California, where Twitter is based, could open the door to lawyers acting for Ryan Giggs and other personalities who want details of users who broke injunctions.
