A man decapitated himself after a domestic dispute by putting a wire round his neck, attaching it to a tree and accelerating away in a van in front of police in Yorktown, Virginia, USA.
Officers tried to talk him out of the vehicle, but he sped away and was pulled out of the Explorer SUV - with his head separating from his body.

Woman beheaded in Tenerife - unbelievable attack
A British woman has been beheaded in an unbelievable attack in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
The woman was in a shop about 10 miles from Los Christianos when she was stabbed and then decapitated.
