Man shot in neck with arrow - video. Inches from death during walk in the park
A man was just inches from death as he was shot through the neck with an arrow as he walked through a park in Russia.
Konstantine Myakush, 38, was near a sports centre in Moscow when he was hit by the 20-inch arrow misfired by a member of an archery club.
Surgeons removed the arrow and Konstantine is expected to make a full recovery.

You'll need a head for heights to take these pictures – Russian daredevil photographers
The Mail Online reports on daredevil photographers in Russia who risk their lives to climb public buildings to get amazing pictures.
'Is this the dumbest craze ever?' asks the Mail. Maybe, but photographers have been risking their lives for years to bring us staggering shots.
This sort of photography isn't for me, though... I don't like heights. Even looking at their pictures makes me feel a bit queasy.
Interesting thing about the second picture is that someone had to actually take it. So, where on earth (or off it) was the photographer standing?

White killer whale spotted - pictures taken off Russian coast
A white killer whale, nicknamed Iceberg, has been spotted off the coast of eastern Russia. It is believed to be the first time an adult white orca has been seen.
Nobody knows why orcas turn completely white, but a captive white animal suffered from a genetic condition that causes partial albinism.
The adult whale spotted in Russia appears to be healthy and leading a normal life.

Bride's skirt falls off at wedding - video - but is the Russian clip a hoax?
Here comes the... most embarrassed bride. A video said to capture the moment a bride's skirt fell down, revealing her backside, is doing the rounds on the internet.
There is some doubt about the authenticity of the Russian clip, however.
Have a look at the Mail story - with video - and judge for yourself.

Yeti 'found' in Russia - 'evidence' of 7ft beast - perhaps not
Russian officials claim they have found "indisputable proof" that yetis are alive in Siberia.
It follows a conference and expedition to track down the Abominable Snowman in the Mount Shoria area, according to a Mail report.
The claim rests on an unclear footprint and a small sample of 'hair' found at the cave.
But the idea has already been branded as an attempt to boost tourism as there is no convincing photographic or DNA evidence.

Woman wakes up at own funeral and dies again of heart attack
This must be everyone's worst nightmare - waking up at your own funeral having been declared dead.
It was too much for Fagilyu Mukhametzyanov, a 49-year-old Russian, who woke up in her coffin surrounded by grieving relatives. She started screaming and then died again of another suspected heart attack, according to The Sun.
Her husband, Fagili, 51, said: "She only lived another 12 minutes before she died again, this time for good."
The hospital, in Kazan, Russia, says it is investigating the incident.
What a gruesome story!

London Mayor Boris Johnson sends US President Barack Obama bill for £10
Boris Johnson, the London Mayor, has apparently sent American President Barack Obama a £10 congestion charge bill because he was driven around the city in his armoured limo, called "The Beast", when the roads had not been closed.
The Pope was not charged when he visited London in September because the roads were closed when the Popemobile rolled through, says the mayor.
America is said to owe London £5.2 million worth of unpaid congestion charges for driving embassy cars in central London. The US Embassy says it is exempt from paying "direct taxes", but the mayor says the charge is not a tax.
Several other embassies refuse to pay the £10-a-day charge. America, Russia and Japan are top of the list of non-payers, with the total bill standing at £51 million.
