The camera does lie - illusion makes pretty ugly girls - flashed face distortion effect

The Mail reports on an illusion with flashing images that proves the camera can lie. The "flashed face distortion effect" fools the brain so that it turns pretty girls into ugly ones.

Look at the YouTube video and concentrate on the crosshairs.

Spooky!

'UFOs over London' - YouTube video. Judge for yourself

A video said to be of UFOs over London has been posted on YouTube and is attracting a lot of attention.

The footage was taken near the BBC in Great Portland Street. It shows specks of white light flying over the capital in daylight and a larger disc-shaped object.

But, and it is a big BUT, the same user has another video of a visual effects company called The Mill. Sounds like publicity to me.

Skateboarding dog's owner fined for not keeping mutt on lead - how mean

Bodhi the terrier is a talented mutt, performing kerbside stunts on his skateboard in the North Laine area of Brighton, Sussex.

But now his antics have been halted by a mean council.

Two woman had apparently complained that they tripped over Bodhi's skateboard, and that was enough for Brighton & Hove City Council to fine the dog's owner, Jonathan Fell, 51, for failing to keep him on a lead.

North Laine has always been a great place to see something out of the ordinary and the council must be insane if it wants to turn it into a 'elf and safety', fun-free' area.

Might I suggest the two women look where they are going in future, or better: stay at home. Wonder where they were from... who complains to the council about such things, anyway?
