Rare US coin could be worth $4 million – gold $3 found in book now up for auction

A rare American $3 gold coin could be worth about $4 million when it is sold at auction next month – and, amazingly, it was found in 1997 by a tourist inside a souvenir book at a shop in San Francisco.

Only two 1870-S coins were made by the San Francisco mint – to be placed at the cornerstone of a public building. The coin up for sale was made from a special cast that had an 'S' carved into it, which is why the $3 piece is so rare.

There is no known specific plot, but Homeland Security says there is a need for "continued awareness and vigilance".

'Pippa Butt Lift' - plastic surgery boom in America inspired by Pippa Middleton's bottom

An American plastic surgeon says that people are queueing up to have a Pippa Middleton bottom.

The boom in requests for plastic surgery, called the 'Pippa Butt Lift', follows her appearance as maid of honour at the royal wedding of her sister, Kate Middleton (now the Duchess of Cambridge), to Prince William (the Duke of Cambridge) in Westminster Abbey.

Dr Constantino Mendieta, of Miami, says the 'Pippa Butt Lift' craze has taken the US and, indeed, the world by storm.

City officials said they didn't want to send residents water laced with urine. But health officials said the pee was so diluted it did not pose a risk.

Not to mention all the unspeakable things done in the water by the wildlife! That's why the water is treated in the first place.
