A 15-year-old girl is alleged to have shot her father with a hunting bow because he grounded her and took her mobile (cell phone) away. She is also said to have refused to let him use the phone to dial the emergency services on 911.
Tony Iovinelli, from Tahuya, Washington, was airlifted to Seattle in a serious condition with an arrow sticking out of his body.
