School bans high-fives, handshakes and hugging

Governors have imposed a no-contact rule to "prevent fighting and bullying" at a school in south London, according to a Sun newspaper exclusive.

And that means no high-fives, handshakes or hugging.

Parents were apparently up in arms after a 15-year-old girl was put in detention for cuddling a female friend at The Quest Academy, in Croydon.

"I've never heard of anything so crazy in my life," said one mother.
