Boys, 7, told to stop playing soldiers - too threatening say teachers

What is the world coming to when a seven-year-old boy gets told off for making gun shapes with his hands and playing soldiers? I suppose cowboys and indians using water pistols is definitely out of the question.

Teachers at Nathaniel Newton Infants in Nuneaton, Warwicks, told two boys aged 7 to stop playing soldiers because it was "threatening".

Local Tory MP Marcus Jones told the Sun: "This is political correctness gone mad."

A school spokesman said the boys indulged in "unacceptable behaviour" by making gun gestures to members of staff.
